Are you ready to architect the backbone of next-generation cloud platforms? NebulaScale Systems is seeking a high-impact Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our core engineering team in San Francisco. You will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and optimizing highly scalable distributed systems that power our global enterprise clients.
In this role, you will work at the intersection of infrastructure, automation, and software engineering, driving our transition to serverless architectures and advanced Kubernetes orchestration.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain robust, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure environment consistency.
- Develop and refine CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment cycles while maintaining rigorous security standards.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for mission-critical production systems.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost-efficiency through detailed capacity planning.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of operational excellence and peer review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the core infrastructure lifecycle.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Expert-level proficiency in AWS/GCP services (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, GKE).
- Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Experience with container orchestration tools, primarily Kubernetes (EKS/GKE).
- Solid understanding of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems in high-traffic environments.
