Are you obsessed with system uptime, performance at scale, and automating away toil? NexusCloud Systems is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our core infrastructure team in San Francisco. We are building the next generation of cloud-native infrastructure and need a hands-on engineer to help us drive reliability, scalability, and observability across our global platform.
You will work alongside elite software engineers to bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring our services are as resilient as they are efficient.
Tanggung Jawab
- Design and maintain highly available, distributed systems on AWS/GCP.
- Drive capacity planning, performance analysis, and optimization of production services.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices using Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Automate manual operational tasks to minimize toil and increase engineering velocity.
- Lead incident response and conduct blameless post-mortems to improve system reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of proactive monitoring and alerting.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or large-scale Systems Engineering.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration at scale.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Rust.
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and networking protocols.
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Honeycomb).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and automation workflows.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business stakeholders.
